Center for Historic and Military Archaeology at Heidelberg College
The Center for Historic and military Archaeology is an academic research and experiential learning program designed to reach beyond the traditional focus of undergraduate education. The CMHA provides a quality program for anthropological archaeologists focusing on historic and military archaeology and cultural resource management.
Maumee Valley Heritage Corridor
The Heritage Corridor was incorporated in 1992 in Ohio and in 1993 in Indiana. Our Mission is to identify historic, natural, cultural and recreational resources in the Maumee River watershed, principally in those counties adjacent to the Maumee, and to increase public awareness of these resources and help protect them as necessary.
Metroparks of the Toledo Area
The Metropolitan Park District of the Toledo Area is dedicated to providing a regional system of premier natural, historical and cultural public parklands maintained and operated to the highest professional standards to enhance our quality of life and inspire preservation efforts in this and future generations.
Toledo's Attic
Toledo's Attic, a program of the Lucas County-Maumee Valley Historical Society, rests on the belief that historical knowledge of one's own city enriches a sense of personal and cultural identity, engenders civic spirit and responsibility, and contributes to a well-lived life. Thus its mission is to identify and publicly display artifacts and other evidence that help to reconstruct, interpret, and commemorate the story of twentieth-century Toledo and its surrounding communities.
Images in Time at Toledo-Lucas County Public Library
Review the history of Toledo and Northwest Ohio through photographs and documents which date back to 1860. More than 150,000 images, categorized by topics such as the Library, Industry, Transportation and People, have been preserved by the Library's local History and Genealogy Department. Many are presented here for research and your viewing pleasure.

The Northwest Ohio Quarterly
Welcome to the Northwest Ohio Quarterly homepage. Founded in 1927, it is a joint publication of the Lucas County/Maumee Valley Historical Society, the Department of History and the Center for Archival Collections of Bowling Green State University.
Ohio Historical Society
The Ohio Historical Society is a nonprofit organization incorporated in 1885 "…to promote a knowledge of archaeology and history, especially in Ohio." The society exists to interpret, preserve, collect, and make available evidence of the past, and to provide leadership on furthering knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of the prehistory and history of Ohio and of the broader cultural and natural environments of which Ohio is a part.
